DR SHIRLEY LAU

BDS (SINGAPORE) / THE DENTIST

Dr. Shirley Lau graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. During her undergraduate days, she was the vice-chairperson of the Freshman Orientation Committee and participated in student exchange programmes to Peking University Hospital of Stomatology and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She also had the opportunity to serve on mission trips to China and Myanmar, bringing basic dental care to the rural areas.

Upon graduation, she worked at National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, Health Promotion Board and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. During her stint in public service, Dr. Shirley gained exposure in various specialty areas of dentistry. She also volunteered at Healthserve, providing dental treatment to migrant workers.

Dr. Shirley is committed to postgraduate education and has completed numerous courses locally and internationally. Currently, she is a committee member of The College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore and a member of Singapore Dental Association and Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore. She believes firmly in delivering quality care and treating her patients like how she treats her loved ones.

Aside from work, she is a mother to two young boys and enjoys pilates when she does have free time.
